The Me That Makes Made By Me

My name is Autumn, I was born Summer 2001. I have lived in the RGV my entire life and haven't left much.
I was born in McAllen but now reside in the Weslaco area. I went to Progresso a few times, and Indiana some, and a handful of times to Lubbock/Houston/SA/Austin.
I love the idea of experiencing the world and every culture for its beauty, so I try to read and watch documentaries about other places to do my best to have a wide world view.
I've been so sheltered because bluntly, I was very abused for the first 19 years of my life and I think it reflects in my art, and especially poetry (maybe it'll get put here but maybe not, some contests consider this to be published).
Within my art, my current scope is within the intricate pattens of the natural world: a baby's hair swirl, fibbonacci sequence, gorgeous braids. There are patterns in the 'unnatural' as well: hallucinations from psychedelics, visual snow, schizophrenia. They are just as natural, of course, but internally so. All of these patterns I try to replicate and to morph into discernable objects on occassion.
